Many people apparently consider theft and robbery quite acceptable if you just say you were driven to it by hunger, apartheid or the delusion that your primitive ancestors were oppressed . So let us talk straight today about a few issues:

A man steals not because he is hungry or poor;
He steals because he is a rogue.

No one in this country has ever been as completely oppressed as the Afrikaner after the Second Boer War.

Our ancestors who survived the war and the concentration camps returned to the deathly emptiness of destroyed farms, hungry, sad and smashed. But they did not rob and murder or steal.

With hard work, perseverance and suffering, they not only performed so well that they soon could care well for, not only themselves, but also their current oppressors.

When they were forced into in English schools and children punished if they dared to speak Afrikaans, they did not throw stones and burn down schools or committed violence; they studied hard and founded their own CVO schools and eventually came out on top so that the Afrikaner today does not stand back for anyone in the academic, technological or scientific fields.

You do not kill because you were previously disadvantaged or because your employer is not treating you tenderly enough, you kill because you are a barbarian and do not deserve to be part of a civilized society.

After the Second Boer War Afrikaners had absolutely no rights and they had to maintain their families with less than a pittance. But they did not torture elderly to death and massacre families.

You are not disadvantaged because someone else does not do enough for you. You are a laggard because you are not performing.

Nobody helped the Afrikaners after the Second Boer War to advance their freedom; they worked and continued to succeed on their own.

And everything that they have, they have gained themself.

If everything is always goes wrong for you and you feel you will never make any progress, it might be a good idea to stop seeking who, other than yourself, is responsible for all your woes.

Pull yourself together and excel yourself to prosper. And that goes for our own people also.

Only our own work, achievement and faith determine whether we stay behind in oblivion or we can rise as a proud, decent, respectable people.

Even in the new South Africa there are still opportunities for innovative, enthusiastic people willing to work hard and create a future for themselves..

May the Afrikaner never become as pathetic.
